Billie is an enforcer with the ability to always getting into trouble and needing to be rescued. Arcros is Captain and a Oefric with the enforcers who usually is the one rescuing her. Arcros suddenly leaves the enforcers and Billie has become attracted to him and misses him. She is then sent off to the Oefric colony on Chysan to negotiate for additional personnel. She just can't quite figure out why her since she is the least qualified. When she gets there she is whisked off to some formal function in which she will meet with the Clan Chief she will be dealing with for the negotiations.Nothing is as at seems and this story is full of surprises. The characters are well developed for such a short story and we are introduced to even more new species and cultures. What I love is Billie's ability that brings in the fliers. What a cool thing to be part of. It was almost like you could see them. It just goes to show that with Terrans involved, you never know what will happen.

This book had humor and love and a great ending,all of her books are fun but this one might be my favorite.
I don't tend to like reunion romance but this one worked for me because of culture elements. A nice read for a lazy afternoon.

I always enjoy reading any book by Viola Grace, some more than others. This was good fun with a sassy and spunky heroine getting her male.
Billie is an Enforcer. Romance is rocky, this is the story where we learn the shape changing Oefric have a cultural bias against most new species. Couple years later society now approves ... what could go wrong? Find out how Billie is doing via the Terran Times.
